Natalia de la Rosa


Natalia de la Rosa is an art historian and curator. Her studies cover Modern Art and Visual Culture, muralism and public art, cinema, architecture, and theory of the Avant-garde in the Americas. Her work poses fundamental questions about the interrelations between art, politics and economics in Modern and Contemporary Art in Latin America. She holds her Ph.D in Art History at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). De la Rosa collaborated as a Postdoctoral Associate in the Romance Studies Department at Duke University (2016-2018), and at the Institute of Philological Research UNAM (2020-2022). Associate Researcher at the Institute of Aesthetic Research (Oaxaca Centre, UNAM,) since 2023.
