Dr. Felix Krell is a Post-Doc at the ‘Department of Media Use and Digital Cultures’ within the faculty for Communication Science at Paris Lodron University Salzburg. His work focuses on the ethnographic study of emerging virtual communities in new media environments, specifically in the context of micro-forums, livestreaming and Social VR. He recently published his dissertation “Life in Virtual Reality”. He further co-founded and acts as a board member for the “Sociology of Digital Games” working group within the German Sociological Association. ORCID: 0000-0002-9987-2719
