Anna Bisogno is an associate professor of Cinema, Radio and Television at Universitas Mercatorum, where she coordinates the degree programme in Gastronomy, Hospitality and Territories and serves as University Delegate for Radio Mercatorum. Her research spans the history of Italian television and its more recent transformations, with particular attention to seriality, audiovisual languages, and the new forms of content consumption and circulation across screens, platforms and social media. She has coordinated and taken part in research on television programming, audiences and the representation of women for Rai and Mediaset. She is the author of TV espansa. Piattaforme, social network, IA (Carocci, 2025), La TV invadente (Carocci, 2015), and La Storia in TV (Carocci, 2010). Alongside her academic research, she also brings experience in television writing and production: for RaiPlay she authored the format 30×70… Se dico donna (2024), produced with Rai Teche and dedicated to thirty women who shaped the first seventy years of RAI.
