Gaudêncio Fidelis
Gaudêncio Fidelis is a curator and art historian. He holds an M.A. from New York University (NYU) and a Ph.D. in Art History from the State University of New York (SUNY-Binghamton). He has organized and curated more than fifty exhibitions and published extensively. Between 2019-21 Mr. Fidelis was a Fellow of the Institute of International Education (IIE) - Scholars Rescue Fund, and a Fellow of the New University in Exile Consortium (UIE) while he worked as a Research Scholar at The New School - Parsons School of Design in New York. He was Assistant Professor of Curatorial Studies at Parsons and Interim Director of the Sheila C. Johnson Design Center at the same institution. Mr. Fidelis is currently Adjunct Associate Professor of Art History at the Dept. of Art and Art History at Hunter College (City University of New York), where he teaches art history and criticism and theory.
