Luca Guerrini is an Associate Professor at the Politecnico di Milano, where he has worked since 1993. Trained as an urban planner, he has conducted applied research and carried out projects in the fields of transport and environmental design, interior and spatial design, and design for cultural heritage. His studies focus on the concept and perception of space in the relationship between design and the arts. A curator of design and architecture exhibitions, he served as a consultant for the National Museum of Architecture in Ferrara, Italy, from 2000 to 2006, and has participated in national and international architecture competitions. He is the author of books, essays, and articles presented at national and international conferences. His current scientific work focuses on the investigation of the concept of design and research methodologies in the field of design.
