Roberto Pinto is an Associate Professor of Contemporary Art History at the University of Bologna. He has taught at several prestigious institutions, including Bocconi University in Milan and the University of Trento. In addition to his academic career, Pinto has been actively involved as both a commentator and author on the artistic developments of the 1990s. He has curated and co-curated contemporary art exhibitions, including the Gwangju Biennale, and has contributed to industry magazines such as Flash Art, where he worked as an editor and managing editor. He is currently the curator of "Milano City Art".
