Ali Filippini


Ali Filippini is a researcher at the Politecnico di Torino, where he teaches History of Design and Visual Communication, after having taught as an adjunct professor at the University of San Marino, IULM University, and the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan. He is vice-president of AIS/Design (the Italian Association of Design Historians) and a member of the Centre for the Study of Design History in Piedmont. A professional journalist since 2009, he contributes to trade magazines and to editorial projects devoted to the history and criticism of design. His publications include Il negozio conteso (FrancoAngeli, 2021) and Per qualcuno può essere semplicemente fare luce – Foscarini 1983/2023 (Corraini, 2024).
