Lara Facco
Lara Facco is a registered journalist, graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna and from Ca' Foscari in Venice, and is a specialist in communications for contemporary art and culture. She has over twenty years of experience in the museum and public and private institution sector, spanning strategic communications and media relations, with expertise ranging from journalistic writing to social media strategy and integrated communication campaign planning. She began her career collaborating with the Venice Biennale in 1999 and in 2001 as a member of Harald Szeemann's staff, starting as a public guide before becoming a junior assistant on the curator's team, working in particular on the editing of the catalogue for the 49th International Art Exhibition. From 2002 she moved into the world of communications, supporting the press office of the Architecture Biennale for institutional communication. From that point on, she gained experience within public institutions (such as the Mart in Rovereto and MAMbo in Bologna) and in the organisation of major cultural events. Since 2010 she has worked alongside public and private institutions including the Fondazione Nicola Trussardi, OGR Torino, GAMeC in Bergamo, Palazzo Te in Mantua, the Museo delle Civiltà, Galleria Borghese, and the Gallerie Nazionali d'Arte Antica Barberini Corsini in Rome. For the latter, through her agency, she oversaw the international press campaign for the exhibition Caravaggio 2025 at Palazzo Barberini, which received worldwide media acclaim.
