The Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts (GAFA), founded in 1953 and based in Guangzhou, is one of China’s eight major fine arts academies. It is the only independent higher arts institution in South China, offering undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs across fine arts and design.
