It offers an in-depth exploration of the artistic movements and avant-gardes that have shaped contemporary art, led by nationally and internationally renowned faculty.

12 online lessons to understand Contemporary Art

The course provides art enthusiasts of all levels with a unique opportunity to embark on a fascinating journey through the artistic currents that have revolutionized the cultural landscape. With a rich and detailed program, the course consists of 12 lessons – each lasting 2 hours, including the final Q&A session – covering a wide range of topics: from the pioneering movements of the 20th century to the latest trends in contemporary art. Each lesson offers a thorough analysis of a historical period or artistic movement, spanning from Fauvism, Cubism, and Abstractionism to Minimalism, New Dada, Performance, and Video Art, all through the examination of works by the most significant artists.

Each lesson is taught by an excellent faculty, with prominent figures such as Renato Barilli, Luca Guerrini, Fabiola Naldi, Roberto Pinto, Francesca Pola, and Angela Vettese.

The course started on March 4, 2025, and ended on May 27, 2025. The lessons were held on Tuesdays from 6:00 to 8:00 pm CET.
