Li Mengzh
Li Mengzhi is a designer, curator, and cultural strategist focused on sustainable design innovation and interdisciplinary practices in art, culture, and commercial projects. In 2021, she co-founded the Guangzhou Roof Art Center as Chief Operating Officer and in 2022 established the Guangzhou Sharp Angle Gallery, curating numerous exhibitions domestically and internationally. In 2023, she co-founded the China-Italy Art Research Institute at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts.
With a background in Design Innovation (M.A., Loughborough University) and a PhD at Lancaster University’s Imagination Research Centre, Li has led multiple experimental teaching and sustainable design projects, including the “tetto” academic project and over 10,000 m² of rooftop art complexes. She has developed sustainable, relationship-based strategies connecting art institutions, cultural nodes, and communities, blending commercial, cultural, and social dimensions. Since 2025, she has served as Partner in Cultural Space Operations at the Shenzhen Sea World Culture and Art Center.
