Gu Zhen Qing

Born in Shanghai in 1964, Gu Zhenqing is a prominent Chinese curator and academic. After graduating from Fudan University in 1987, he served as chief curator at the Shanghai Duolun Museum of Modern Art and directed the 2004 Chinese Contemporary Art Awards. He later led the Zhu Qizhan Art Museum and worked in editorial roles at Visual Production. From 2009 to 2016, he directed Beijing’s Li-Space Culture & Art Center, and since 2021 has been guest professor at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. Today, he lives in Beijing and works independently as a curator
