Michał Pałasz

Michał Pałasz works as an assistant professor at the Institute of Culture at the Jagiellonian University. He researches management in the Anthropocene, i.e., organizing a sufficiently good shared world in the era of climate and ecological catastrophe. He is interested in degrowth, posthumanism, and climate education. He has trained hundreds of people working at the Jagiellonian University on issues related to green transformation. With the help of numerous supportive humans and non-humans, he is developing the Jagiellonian University Community Garden. He co-designed the following studies: Leader of International Cooperation for Green Transformation and Laboratories of Contemporary Culture. He is European Climate Pact Ambassador, an expert at the Polish Ministry of Climate and Environment, and a member of the Jagiellonian University Climate Council. He co-led the creation of the Jagiellonian University's Climate and Environmental Strategy until 2030. He is the co-editor of the book "Five Minutes Till the End of the World. The Climate-ecological Crisis in the Voice of Multiple Sciences) (with Kasia Jasikowska, 2022)
